EFIB is the leading annual event in Europe for businesses and different organisations in charge of industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy. TWB, with the support of Toulouse Métropole, is the local partner of EuropaBio for the organisation of this event.

Each year the EFIB brings together more than 600 participants from thirty or more different countries. The theme of the 2018 edition is "Industrial biotech: delivering new bio-based products and processes to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals".
