2018 Summer School of the TULIP labex

Each year the TULIP LabEx organizes an interdisciplinary summer school for Masters, PhD and postdoctoral students from all over the world. This seventh edition will take place from 14th  to 20th of July and will focus on biological interactions: from genes to ecosystems. This will be a unique opportunity to meet international speakers coming to Occitania.

Entirely in English, the TULIP LabEx summer school consists in plenary sessions and intensive workshops, and covers all aspects of interactions among organisms ranging from the molecular up to the eco-evolutionary scale of interactions within populations and communities.

Selected students will have the opportunity to:

  • Take an active part in a research team project at the interface between these scientific fields
  • Meet TULIP experts and renowned international researchers listed below
  • Enjoy a pleasant setting in the Pyrenees

This year, the international speakers will be:

Alberto Macho (Chinese Academy of Sciences)
Philippe Reymond (University of Lausanne)
Mark Knight (Durham University)
William Vickery (University of Quebec - Montreal)
And 2 more to come!

Full accommodation is provided to the students during the Summer School, as well as the travel from Toulouse to the Domaine de Ramonjuan (French Pyrénées). Students only have to cover their travel expenses to Toulouse.

 

Applications are open until April 1st.

Successful applicants will be informed before April 15th.
The summer school is limited to 25 students selected by our Pedagogical Committee.
